How Call Forwarding Works?

To configure call forwarding on your landline or cell phone, click on the gear icon in "Users" tab from your web app and update the number.


 

 

 

 

Note: User will be able to forward calls to the cellphone or landline as per their availability.

 

Case 1: A user will receive the call on his configured number when his in-app status is "Always Available" but logged out from the web-app.

 

Case 2: The user won't receive calls on any device, if the status is "Unavailable" and logged out from the web-app. The call will be recorded as voicemail.

 

Case 3: CallHippo provides custom availability based on user's preference. If set to custom, the user will receive calls only in specified duration and if during this specified duration the user is logged out from the web app then all the calls will get forwarded to the configured landline or cell phone number.
