Connecting CallHippo with TeleCRM lets you log every call and SMS against the right TeleCRM contact, place calls straight from TeleCRM, and keep your field sales team’s activity in sync. This guide walks you through generating your TeleCRM credentials and pairing the two accounts.
Before you begin
- Sign in with a user who has owner access on both the CallHippo and TeleCRM accounts, so you’re able to complete the integration.
- Make sure API permissions are enabled in TeleCRM. Full access to settings is required.
- Data syncs almost instantly, but the initial sync of contacts can take a few minutes.
Set up TeleCRM and get your credentials
To connect TeleCRM to CallHippo you need two values from TeleCRM: a Sync API token and your Enterprise ID.
- Log in to the TeleCRM account you want to integrate (the owner account is preferable).

- Open the Integrations page from the left-hand menu.

- Find the Website/API integration and click Manage.

- Click Create New Token.

- Enter a token name and select Sync APIs as the API type.

- Click Generate API Token and note down the generated token.
- Get your Enterprise ID from the browser URL. It’s the highlighted portion of the address after the domain.

Connect TeleCRM in CallHippo
- In CallHippo, open the Integrations page, search for TeleCRM, and click Connect.

- Paste the Sync API key and Enterprise ID you copied from TeleCRM.

- Click Connect Now. Once authorized, the status changes to Integrated and your CallHippo account is connected to TeleCRM.

Configure the integration
Click the settings icon on the TeleCRM card to open its configuration and choose which activity to push and which numbers to sync.

- Call activities reflected in TeleCRM: With this toggle enabled, every call made on a TeleCRM contact through CallHippo appears in that contact’s activity in TeleCRM. Use the checkboxes next to each call status to select exactly which activities you want to sync.

- Connected numbers: Select or deselect the numbers you want to connect with TeleCRM. Call and SMS activities are logged in TeleCRM only for the selected numbers.

What syncs to TeleCRM
Integration features:
- Contact sync: New TeleCRM contacts sync to CallHippo once a Click to Call action is performed on them, and appear in the CallHippo dialer’s Contacts tab. Existing TeleCRM contacts sync to CallHippo once the number is dialed through Click to Call.
- Outbound calls: Make calls directly from TeleCRM using the CallHippo Click to Call extension.
- Call and SMS activity logs: TeleCRM logs all call and SMS activity for the contact.
Note: To enable activity syncing, you’ll need to configure custom actions inside your TeleCRM account. The created custom action is then configured in the CallHippo backend, so please contact [email protected] to complete this.
Each call activity pushed to a TeleCRM contact’s recent events includes:
- Called by (agent name)
- From number and To number
- Call type (incoming or outgoing)
- Call status (for example, Completed)
- Call duration
- Call started time
- Recording URL
- Call notes
- Call tags
- Call disposition
For AI Voice Agent calls, these extra fields are also synced:
- AI voice agent name
- AI summary
- User sentiment
- Call outcome
Each SMS activity pushed to a TeleCRM contact’s recent events includes:
- SMS sent/received time
- Sent/received by
- From number and To number
- SMS content
After Call Work (ACW): If your CallHippo plan includes the call tags and disposition service and it’s enabled, the tags and disposition added on the ACW screen after a call are pushed to TeleCRM. This syncs only when tags and disposition are added on the After Call Work screen; tags or disposition added later from the call logs or another feed won’t sync to TeleCRM.
