If you’re having trouble logging in to CallHippo, the cause is usually a missing verification email, an account state issue, or a browser glitch. Use the sections below to find the fix that matches your situation.
Not receiving OTP, password reset, or activation emails
Missing emails are often caused by delivery delays, spam filtering, an incorrect registered email, or a company firewall blocking the sender.
What you can do
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm you’re using the email address you registered with.
- Ask your IT team to whitelist CallHippo’s sender email.
- Wait 1–2 minutes and resend the OTP.
- Try logging in from a different browser or device.
Delivery delays often resolve on their own. If emails are bouncing or need to be resent manually, contact support.
Common login errors and fixes
“Your account has been deactivated as a precautionary measure”
This usually happens when the activation link is clicked multiple times within 72 hours, the first or last name wasn’t entered during activation, or login was attempted before the account was activated. To fix it:
- Complete activation using the email link.
- Ensure your First Name and Last Name are filled in.
- Contact support if the account is already deactivated.
“Your email address is not registered”
- New users should sign up first.
- Existing users should check for typos in the email address.
- Try the Reset Password option.
“Your account is not verified yet”
- Open your inbox for the email address you used to create the account and click the verification link.
- Use the Resend Verification option if needed.
“Account locked due to 3 failed login attempts”
- You’ll receive an account unblock email at your registered address — use the link in it to unblock the account yourself.
- Alternatively, use the Magic Link option to log in securely via email, or reset your password.
“You are not allowed to use staging”
This means you’re trying to log in through a test environment. Always use the official login page: https://web.callhippo.com.
Blank screen or “Oops! Something went wrong” after login
Try these quick fixes:
- Hard refresh the page: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).
- Open the page in an incognito or private window.
- Switch to a different browser or device.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
If it still doesn’t load, contact support with a screenshot or screen recording.
